Mini Winter Wonderland Adventure

So a friend and I decided we would head up to Oklahoma City and have a Chirstmas themed day! Oswald the rather flat and upset looking bear who I bought recently at Teso Life came with me for the adventure. I've really grown fond of him. My friend's daughter really liked him too, though she kept calling him "Osmo," I think that's his new nickname.

We decided to have pizza at this really fun looking place inside a hipster food court styled place that was called Mozz and Mari's. My slice was called "White Rabbit" and it was DELICIOUS. I am very partial to anything mysterious and rabbit named, probably because of my love of FNAF purple guy as well as my real pet rabbit. lol. This had feta cheese which I don't get very often, and I forget how good it is. You'd never know I was lactose intolerant with how much I love cheese, but it's worth it.

There was a really cute wall for taking selfies I assume, so here is Oswald posing with it~

The sign says "He knows if you've been bad or good" you know... because even though I love Santa, that jolly chunky man, he's pretty ominous sometimes.

There happened to be a Christmas Market happening right across the street from us there so we checked it out. Didn't buy anything, but it was really cute! I love decorations, and they even had a little tree farm where people could buy real Christmas trees.

We had a real tree once, but my dad cut it down from outside, and it didn't really turn out great. I'm not sure if I'm mentally ready to try again JUST yet.

We then made it to our original destination of this Riversports arena where they had set up a whole

winter sports area. We were SUPER hype to ice skate.... but here's literally my ONE complaint about the whole day. I had an amazing time, but we had to pay $19.99 to get into this thing for adults, and then we had two kids with us, my friend's daughter and sister. They cost cheaper. $9.99 I think? BUT THE "ICE?" It wasn't ice. It was COLD PLASTIC. We skated on cold plastic!! It wasn't even frozen over with water! Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our time here, but I think there should have been SOME sort of disclaimer for.... plastic skating. lol. They still gave us ice skates with blades, and it still... sort of worked? But there were weird little grooves in the plastic from where other people had been over it, and I could literally walk on it. It was a bit of a let down. At least we got some cute pics, and the littlest of our group had the best time curling. She was smashing those things!

I was actually really excited to play too. I always see curling on the Winter Olympics. I wanted to be like the cool Canadian team!! (PS Those blue ones are mine, yea, TOTAL bullseye~)

Overall, I had a wonderful day. I felt the Winter festivities in my heart.

Sure wish it had been ice though. lol.
