To those of you who know me; and to those of you who don't. I like Markiplier. I like Jacksepticeye... I also love Five Nights at Freddy's. I've been a fan since maybe 2013?
SO WHAT DO I DO WITH A GREAT FNaF x CLOAK brand sweatshirt I own that I can't get rid of because I loved it and paid maybe too much for it at the time because I was excited?? WELL,
WE MAKE A WEIRD BAG OUT OF IT, OF COURSE!
Pictured we have my dear tiny William Afton (purple man) himself that I originally commissioned from @KellyOnelani off of my own fan design pinning(firmly grasp it) the inside out sweatshirt. I then hemmed up the bottom of this area and cut off the excess. Originally I thought it would be cute to just use the sleeves as the handles for the bag, but I quickly realized that made the bag kind of lopsided and unable to hold things correctly. Keep in mind, I can sew well with a machine, but I was flying in the dark with this. I wanted to make something weird and cute for me, but show off the design still. The back of the shirt features Toy Freddy, while the front features the CLOAK logo.
The arms have a
checkerboard pattern in the same red color with the FNaF//CLOAK text. I wanted it all to be shown off since I really enjoy this shirt, it just DOESN'T FIT. Back when I purchased it I thought it would stretch some. Sadly, it does not. :,(
After getting the basic idea down, and hemming the bottom, I opened up the neck hole and hemmed across to where the sleeves started to create the opening of the tote. Luckily I had some cute rainbow bag strapping left over from deconstructing an old bag I had at one time, so I used that as my new bag's strap! I wasn't sure what to do with the "hands" of the shirt, so I put them cutely in front pinned together with a scrunchie for looks!
Overall, I've owned some weird looking bags in my time, but at least this one is a Shelby original.
It definitely looks cozy. I think Little Will likes it at least! It hangs a little lower than my hip~
